A draft is a starting point. You stay responsible for the facts and the final message.

Open the source first#

Read the story, episode or thread behind the suggestion. Check that it is current, relevant and from the person shown.

Add your evidence#

Replace general claims with a result, document, example or experience you can back up. Cut anything you would not say yourself.

Respect the conversation#

Answer the question the source actually asked. On Reddit and Hacker News, add to the thread before you mention your company, and say how you are connected.
