    THEBES — Monday morning the Village of Thebes has declared a 30-day local disaster over a broken swage pump. The city first declared a local disaster on Aug. 14. The declaration came after the village’s main sewage pump on Bean Ridge Road broke, leaving no way for sewage or wastewater to leave the town. The village was originally given a wastewater pump on loan from C&C Pumps and Supply but it’s only a temporary solution.
