For a $1,200 creator quote, an existing client funds $1,260. A matched or managed client funds $1,320. Processing is included in the buyer fee. These are pilot rates as of October 22, 2026; each agreement keeps its accepted fee rule.
Agree first. Fund before work starts.
Checkout requires both parties’ acceptance and completed Stripe readiness. The pilot funds one milestone with delivery due within 30 days. Funding, delivery approval, Stripe transfer, and paid bank payout remain separate states.
The success fee is earned on completed work under the agreement. Before work starts, a confirmed funded booking can be cancelled for a full refund including the buyer fee, with HeyJared absorbing unrecoverable processing costs. After work starts, a settlement needs both participants’ agreement and review. A dispute can pause an unreleased payout. This is not escrow, financing, insurance, or a payout guarantee.
