Our news and podcast archives include coverage from every month since 2006. Reports search all available dates for your subject, including older material where we have it. Historical depth varies by source and subject; some records contain excerpts or episode descriptions rather than full articles or transcripts.
How far back each channel goes
These are the first full years with sustained monthly volume in our current archives. Individual items can be older.

TV captions are a separate, partial archive with gaps. The 2006 claim applies to news and podcasts.
What this means for your report
The dates on your report describe the coverage found for that subject. A company founded recently will usually have a shorter history. An empty month means no matching coverage was found in that period; it does not establish that nobody discussed the subject.
Open the original source to inspect the article or episode. Indexed records, available text and completed analysis are different things, and the report shows its analysis progress.
How we checked the monthly history
We checked every calendar month through August 2026. Each channel meets a threshold of at least 100 indexed records per month from the year shown. The news and podcast archives both meet that threshold from January 2006 onward.
In 2006 alone, we counted 3,251 news and web records across 309 source profiles, and 45,363 podcast and radio entries across 3,859 source profiles. We also checked examples against their original publishers. This establishes regular archive volume, not complete coverage of every source or topic.
