Chill, accepting and welcoming is the perfect way to describe open mic night. Music Industry Club’s open mic night, held on Sept. 10 at the UpTop Bar at Kern’s Food Hall, showcased over 15 musical acts performed by students and non-students alike. The back left corner was set up with a drum set, speakers, amps and two microphones — one for vocals and one for guitars.
