    Summer has finally arrived in Cape Breton. It took its good old time to get here! Looking at the weather forecasts over the last two weeks has been rather depressing. The mainland has been sweltering for the last while, but there seems to be an invisible barrier at the causeway that prevented the heat from getting any further. Summertime means so much to Cape Bretoners. We wait all year for the warmer weather. We endure the snow and ice and complain about how dreary the weather is in the spring.
