In the fading light of a rare evening game at the floodlight-less Menace Arena, Peckham Town comfortably saw off Bermondsey Town in their second strong performance of the new season. Whilst the vast lawns of private schools and golf clubs remain gloriously verdant in the midst of a long drought, Peckham had to make do with a veritable dustbowl of a pitch.
