NFL quarterback power rankings heading into Week 4 (opens the original)
Read excerpt
The most fun part about ranking quarterbacks every week is that you never know who you’re going to be writing about. Caleb Williams goes down with an injury? Obviously you’re going to have to rank his backup, an unproven entity who hasn’t started a game in three years, but the Bears are quite high on since they gave him a contract extension, right? Wrong. He’s hurt, too. You’ve got to figure out where 36-year-old Case Keenum belongs. A startling number of teams have already put their third-strin
USC radio announcer’s shocking call of Dante Moore’s concussion (opens the original)

USC Trojans linebacker Desman Stephens II hit Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore as he was sliding on Saturday, Sept. 26. Moore was taken to the hospital, and Stephens was ejected for targeting after he was caught on the sideline celebrating the hit. Hurts was visibly frustrated when he had to leave the game. At one point, ESPN showed him peeking out of the tent asking where his helmet was. Some people thought they read an F-bomb on his lips, but we can’t be 100 percent certain. What we
Who is new Buccaneers starting QB Jalon Daniels? (opens the original)
Read excerpt
With Baker Mayfield missing the next three weeks after he dislocated his thumb, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will turn to Jalon Daniels to start at quarterback. He may be an undrafted rookie, but he isn’t exactly young. Daniels was in the same recruiting class as a number of established starters in the league, and the team is very high on him. Daniels was part of the 2020 recruiting class, which means he is basically the same age as Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and Drake Maye. Daniels turns 24 in a mont
