Hamilton County will go through a one-year moratorium on data centers after the County Commission approved the plan. County Mayor Weston Wamp initially proposed the ban in late June, and he said during Wednesday's commission meeting the intent is to develop a new set of zoning codes restrictive enough to prevent data centers in unincorporated parts of the county.
