Wood County Dispatch said the call came in at 1:46 regarding a crash on 13th and Plum streets between a white SUV and a school bus. PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The man facing murder charges for a woman who disappeared from Parkersburg in 2022 was in court again Friday. Preston Pierce, also known as Darrell Lott, appeared before Judge Wharton for a status hearing Friday morning. Judge Wharton hoped to plan a trial date Friday. However, Pierce’s lawyers asked for a 60-day extension. The lawyers said they would not be ready for the May court term, pushing the next status hearing back.
