A new Mediterranean restaurant that serves halal meat will open Thursday. Shahâs Halal Food, 3220 N. Anthony Blvd., is an international chain that is popular among college students, said Manveer Khatana, who is opening the restaurant with business partner Jegroop Singh. A Sonic Drive-In restaurant will open in Fort Wayne after a roughly 15-year absence. The grand opening at the new location, 4615 Bass Road, near Ruoff Mortgage Stadium will be Sept. 22.
