    LANE COUNTY, Ore. - Authorities recovered the body of a missing woman from the McKenzie River on Sept. 25, according to the Lane County Sheriff's Office. LCSO officials said that deputies and Eugene Springfield Fire personnel responded to a report of a person in the McKenzie River downstream from Armitage Park around 2 p.m. Responders found the person dead and pulled them from the water. The deceased was identified as 27-year-old Gina Christina Piazza, who had been reported missing on Sept. 20.
