Reminder: Monday, Sept.7 is Labor Day. Town offices, schools, libraries and banks will be closed Monday. Supermarkets and malls will be open. Garden report: I harvested the first batch of potatoes. They are really embedded in the dirt. All the dirt has to be removed to get to the spuds.
