The activity around the lakes changes with the weather conditions. In our hot and humid climate, dragonflies are the most active creatures. They arenât bothered by the heat; instead, they thrive on the hatching of flies. I captured a photo of a dragonfly on my window screen. During the day, these insects patrol the shallow areas of the lake, hunting for bugs, including mosquito larvae.
