Some Arizona drivers may soon receive a notice from the Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division informing them that it is time to update the photo on their driverâs license or identification card. Effective Sept. 12, a new Arizona law extended the stateâs photo update requirement for driverâs licenses and identification cards from every 12 years to every 16 years.
