Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Bloodmoon Review | TheXboxHub (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Just when you thought it was safe to turn on the Xbox again, those pushers over at Poncle are on the hunt for new victims by updating Vampire Survivors. I have spoken before about how this game is the retro gaming equivalent of crack cocaine: how once you start playing, it’s almost impossible to stop, and how the only way to not play the game is to uninstall it. However, with the release of Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Bloodmoon, the eighth installment of DLC for the base game, I had no choi
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Review | TheXboxHub (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Despite the condescending attitude amongst certain hosts on our podcast, I still really enjoyed playing the original Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Big dumb guns, big bugs: what’s not to love? Well, as is so often the case in games these days, a successful game will always spawn a sequel, and so the imaginatively named Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 has arrived on the Xbox. The Blood Of Dawnwalker Review | TheXboxHub (opens the original)

Fortuna Magus Review | TheXboxHub (opens the original)
Read excerpt
I’m mindful of the fact that there hasn’t been a new KEMCO game release on Xbox for about thirty minutes now, so luckily the developers over there have stepped their game up and thrown one out the door. Going by the name of Fortuna Magus, this new offering is a fast paced first person shooter set on an alien world. Just kidding! What we have here is another retro styled JRPG from the masters of retro styled JRPGs. Yep, the scene is set for ANOTHER memorable adventure… Kicking off with the presen
Echoes of Aincrad Review | TheXboxHub (opens the original)
Read excerpt
I’ve never really got involved in the Sword Art Online universe before, largely due to time restraints. But when opportunity arose to get hands-on with Echoes of Aincrad, a game set in the same world, my hand was immediately raised. And largely, at risk of minor spoilers, I’m very glad it did! From Bandai Namco and Game Studio Inc (I wonder what they do?), this one is billed as an action RPG. That is something right up my alley, and having previously played games like Code Vein and Scarlet Nexus
