The Cottonwood Police Department has conducted 350 license plate searches using Flock technology so far in 2026, according to data obtained by The Verde Independent. In 2025, Cottonwood PD ran 1,268 searches. Flock license plate readers have been suspended in Cottonwood as of noon Sept. 4.
