BOONE â A Lenoir man is facing charges after allegedly striking two pedestrians with his car and leaving the scene. Boone Police charged Tristan J. Schreiber, 29, of Lenoir, with two counts of Felony Hit and Run Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury and one count of Failure to Maintain Lane Control. Schreiber was taken before a Watauga County Magistrate, where no bond was set. He was then taken to the Watauga County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in Watauga District Court on Nov. 25
