Two Philadelphia men have turned themselves in to Newark Police in connection to a crash in January, 2025, which heavily damaged St. John AM Church on Cleveland Avenue. The two suspects, identified as 22-year old Brandon Mayes and 25-year old Kasim Coleman, were injured in the crash but left the hospital prior to police obtaining arrest warrants.
