MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The City of Memphis opened its emergency cooling center Tuesday to help those in need of shelter from the hot temperatures. The cooling center will be open to the public from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday. It is located at 590 Washington Avenue and operated by The Hospitality Hub of Memphis.
