Two people died late Friday night in a fiery, wrong-way crash on Interstate 11 at the edge of northwest Las Vegas, police said. The crash happened at 11:28 p.m. at northbound I-11 at mile marker 99 (Snow Mountain interchange), the Nevada Highway Patrol said in a statement. NHP said the crash involved two vehicles, an SUV and a sedan. The driver of the sedan was “traveling southbound in the northbound (wrong way) travel lanes prior to striking the sedan,” NHP said. Both drivers died at the scene.
