Gloria Niska was a prolific writer of emails. When she and her husband George would seek warmer climes in winter, she frequently would send emails. On June 30, 2020, during the COVID crisis, she wrote: Well, I certainly will miss the parades this yearâespecially the Honor Guards and the marching bands, even though none have baton twirlers anymore. George is a member of the Virginia Honor Guard and has really seen a drop in activity due to the coronavirus. What a shame. Our Eveleth High School
