BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Special teams continues to be a struggle for Southern. Last Saturday against Jackson State, placekicker Nathan Zimmer missed an extra point in the 2nd quarter. Later in the quarter, Southern faced 4th & 9 at the JSU 22. Instead of sending Zimmer or Chris McKenna out for a 39 yard field goal attempt, Marshall Faulk sent his offense back out to go for it.
