PRESTON, Minn. (KIMT) â A 63-year-old Iowa man died when a tree fell on him while he was riding his bike on the Root River Bike Trail. The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office said the man was riding eastbound on the trail about 2 miles east of Preston on Sept. 2 at 6:46 p.m. He was ahead of a group of other riders when a tree fell from the side of the trail onto him.
