UTICA, N.Y. -- The fall colors are beginning to arrive, and so were the runners on Genesee Street Sunday morning for a fall tradition that is now more than five decades old. More than 1,000 runners gathered at the starting line for the 52nd annual Falling Leaves Race. The road race was split into two courses, a 5K and a 14K, with both races finishing back at the State Office Building.
