    An investigation is underway after a 25 year old Akron man was shot and killed while sitting in a vehicle outside his home early Monday morning. It happened around 215am in the 1000 block of Ray Street. the man was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries. Jaymeeson Franklin was killed when a vehicle traveling west on West Market Street in Highland Square hit him as he was crossing West Market. Crews are replacing the old State Route 8 over the Cuyahoga River Valley.
