Rain has rolled in and an hours-long thunderstorm warning comes into effect. Areas around Berkshire and Buckinghamshire have been issued a yellow thunderstorm warning lasting from 5am through to 10pm today, Thursday, August 27. The Met Office issued the warning earlier this week, when it advised that a yellow warning was in place across Wednesday and Thursday, covering parts of Reading and High Wycombe. An advisory for Thursday reads: “Thunderstorms and heavy rain may lead to some disruption.” E
