OXFORD, Miss. (WMC) - Oxford Police Department says synthetic kratom was found at the scene of another suspected overdose. Thursday morning, OPD found a 22-year-old unresponsive at a home on Sweetgum Drive around 5 a.m. Emergency officials were able to resuscitate the person, who was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK. The 22-year-old is not a student at Ole Miss. Police found synthetic kratom products at the scene; they do not believe the products were purchased in the Oxford area.
