Alas, we're going to lose perhaps as many as five starting pitchers this season from all that opened the year: Skubal, Mize, Verlander, Flaherty, and possibly Anderson. I'm going to root for Jace Jung to do well as we close out the season. He's had a pretty rough go on his prior trips to the majors. Ideally, he shakes it off and simply does his thing. Do we have at least one more shortstop to interview for a job next year? I took a peek at the stats at Erie (our AA minor league affiliate) and there are 3 shortstops listed - all of 'em look pretty good, too. As we all know John Peck got the call up after a brief stint in Toledo. I'm sort of curious to see just how good Peyton Graham is too, especially with his record stolen base total.
