This is, after all, the story of Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, and Homer’s Odyssey is composed of more than 12,000 lines. If that were not enough, Virgil’s Aenid was also thrown in for good measure. With so many moving parts, it was no mean feat for director Christopher Nolan to weave it into a coherent whole. But for a film that is driven mostly by narrative, it is exceedingly well
