All in all it wasn't too bad of a day across our region. Temperatures were still very summer-like in the 80s and 90s and there's more of that warmth on the way! We did see a few showers and thunderstorms earlier but those have since dissipated and we've been left with mostly cloudy skies. It was another active day across southern Colorado. We've saw numerous thunderstorms across the region and it looks like the rain chances aren't really going anywhere as we kickoff the new workweek. Rainfall amounts across the region today have been rather impressive. Much of the same over the next few days, but we are tracking some relief as we head into next week. We experienced another hot day here across central Colorado with dry and hazy conditions. As we head into the late afternoon and evening hours we may see a stray shower or thunderstorm in our mountain communities but those look to be few and far in between. Unfortunately it's going to be some time before we have a shot at some meaningful relief from the dry conditions that have plagued our region.
