    Dublin-based solicitors have pledged to continue withdrawing from criminal legal aid cases next month in their dispute with justice minister Jim O’Callaghan.     A near-total shutdown of Dublin’s criminal courts will be extended into next week in the ongoing row over new legal aid rules. On Tuesday, a meeting of around 70 Dublin-based criminal legal aid solicitors at the Criminal Courts of Justice (CCJ) agreed a withdrawal from almost all cases in the capital’s criminal courts, planned for Wednesday and Thursday, would continue for three days from next Tuesday in the absence of engagement from justice minister Jim O’Callaghan.
