No. 11 Northwestern came in third overall at the Sean Earle Loyola Lakefront Invitational on Friday. Loyola’s cross country program hosted the 47th edition of the annual event at the Sydney R. Marovitz Gold Course on Chicago’s North Side. The Wildcats registered seven out of a possible 10 athletes. In the individual championship results, Arizona freshman Mercy Chepkemoi took first place. NU senior Ava Criniti placed ninth, the only Wildcat to secure a top ten spot at the race. She averaged 5:17.
