    A Downend man has been ordered to pay more than £800 after repeatedly failing to clear up after his dog. Mason Lupton, of Cleeve Wood Road, was prosecuted by South Gloucestershire Council for breaching a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO), which makes it an offence to leave dog waste in public areas. He appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on August 3 and pleaded guilty to the offence. Lupton was fined £266 and ordered to pay £450 in costs and a £106 victim surcharge, totalling £822.
