A Fairbanks man died on Tuesday after being trapped by heavy equipment. 53-year-old Daniel Mulford had been helping his neighbor dig a hole with his tractor when he was pinned down by a component of the tractor. Alaska State Troopers responded and emergency personnel pronounced Mulford dead at the scene. Foul play is not suspected and next of kin has been notified. Miguel Ciriaco, 53, of Fairbanks, was charged with third-degree escape and violating conditions of release on Aug. 15.
