ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - A bear mauling early Saturday morning in Haines has hospitalized a woman. The incident happened just after 6 a.m. as she walked her dog on Mt. Riley Road. According to the Haines Borough Police Department, she walked home after the incident secured her dog and then called 911 for help. She is in serious but stable condition.
