When he was 12, Trent Dumas heard a man playing a violin in a Decatur parking lot and fell in love with the instrument. Even though the only musical talent he had at the time was to âpick aroundâ on his fatherâs guitar, Dumas started taking violin lessons. âIt wasnât until I started playing the violin that I started developing an interest in music,â he said.
