ATLANTA, GA – Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper recently announced the first confirmed detection of pasture mealybug (Heliococcus summervillei) in Georgia. The detection was confirmed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on Aug. 5, in Decatur County, Georgia.
