RUSK COUNTY – A former Rusk County educator was indicted for sexual assault of a child on Monday. According to our news partner KETK, Rusk County documents show that, Teris Butler was indicted for sexual assault of a child after allegedly assaulting a person who was younger than 17 years of age in July 2014. OUr news partner KETK reached out to Henderson ISD, where she was employed before she resigned in April. Officials said Butler did not start working at the school district until August 2014.
