NXTHVN Block Party & Car ShowHenry StreetAug. 29, 2026 Part of Henry Street felt like it existed in the past and the present all at the same time as the arts organization NXTHVN closed off the block for an end-of-summer car show, party, and celebration of the closing of its GLORY exhibit. Read excerpt
The Nick Marini Trio brought live jazz to the reborn back-alley space of Zinc Thursday night, part of a new weekly “Garden Lounge” series. The performances take place each Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. (with food and drinks servbed from 6 to 10). The lounge is an indoor-outdoor space tucked behind the restaurant. Guests enter through the alley immediately to the right of ZINC’s Chapel Street entrance across from the Green, giving the lounge the feeling of a hidden retreat in the middle of the city.
