The Dubuque City Council postponed action on a data center moratorium Tuesday, giving the cityâs legal team two weeks to incorporate amendments to a draft ordinance before its next meeting. The revised ordinance would still be enacted for six months, until late March, but would put tighter limits on the number of computer servers than initially drafted, with a cap of 5,000 servers. Anything above that would be considered a hyperscale data center and subject to the moratorium.
