MARION, Iowa — A portion of Winslow Road in Marion buckled Monday amid prolonged high temperatures, city officials said in a Facebook post. The affected area is near Bellboy Drive and Cakebread Court, according to the city of Marion. City officials said crews were on their way to assess the situation. Drivers are asked to use caution in the area and find alternate routes, if possible. The city said it will provide updates as more information becomes available.
