HONOLULU (Island News) -- ropical Storm Nolo is less than 300 miles south of the Big Island and is expected to strengthen into a hurricane later today. The Big Island remains under a Hurricane Watch, with damaging winds possible as early as Friday. Stronger trade winds are also expected across the rest of the state.
