Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police report the arrest of a Kankakee man on multiple weapon and drug charges. According to a press release, 35-year-old Imanuel B. Wilson was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of an un-serialized firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. Wilson was taken to the Iroquois County Jail where he was later released with a notice to appear in court.

A crash in far northern Iroquois County Monday night took the life of a Kankakee woman. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner says 51-year-old Shay Doyle was the passenger in a car that was hit broadside by another on Route 49 in rural Woodworth.
