A car found completely burnt out is thought to have been used in a hit-and-run incident in Co Derry, police said. A woman, in her 50s, was hit by a white Ford Transit van that had also collided with another vehicle at about 6.30pm on Saturday in the Queens Quay area of the city. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be serious.
