Warm, dry weather bringing relief to Saskatchewan (opens the original)
Read excerpt
There is finally a weather forecast that doesn’t include precipitation. Normally, Environment and Climate Change Canada news interviews focus on significant weather systems, weather warnings, or other conditions that can be unwelcome. The conditions over the coming week, however, are bound to bring smiles to many people across Saskatchewan. Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Terri Lang told northeastNOW that it’s all sunshine and warmth from now through most of next week.

She talked to one farmer near Englefeld who has had over 150 mm, or 6 inches, of rain in two
Sunny and soggy Labour Day weekend (opens the original)
Read excerpt
Your long weekend forecast is truly a tale of two halves. Environment and Climate Change Meteorologist Terri Lang told northeastNOW that the rest of Friday and Saturday should be nice across most of the province, with some sunshine and highs in the mid 20 C range. However, the pleasant conditions will not last throughout the Labour Day long weekend. “Unfortunately, we do have another weather system that’s moving in,” Lang said. “It looks like it’s going to bring us up more wet weather.”
