Published 5:36 pm Wednesday, September 23, 2026 The BC Coroners Service has confirmed that two people died in a serious collision in Kelowna on Tuesday, Sept. 22. Around 4 a.m., two vehicles collided on the William R. Bennett Bridge connecting Kelowna and West Kelowna. The bridge was closed for approximately five hours. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service was called in to investigate. It is unknown at this time what caused the collision.
