The rain shut off for a bit and it got really hot, which I think is where the pollination issues came in with the sweet corn. Weâve had plenty of rain, but not as much as some areas. Our fields are pretty well drained. Every field has some drowned-out spots, but for the most part weâre sitting pretty decent. At least we havenât had any drought scares. The last two years we got to the point where we needed the rain or we would have been hurting. Then we got a rain and it ended up being OK.
