    A pedestrian in his 60s lost his life on the evening of Sunday, Aug. 2 after being struck by a vehicle at the corner of Highway 69 and Prescott East Highway in Prescott Valley. As of Monday, Aug. 3, the Prescott Valley Police Department was calling the event an accident. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers. Alcohol was not a factor in the incident, according to police. No arrests were made.
