Last week I kicked off my column with a micro-rant about thank-you notes. Or more exactly, about the scarcity, if not soon-to-be extinction of them. Last week I saw something I hadn't seen in decades: A thank-you note â addressed to me, no less. Actually, over the years I have seen a lot of thank-you notes, even thank-you letters.
